RECORDING STUDIOSStudio 1 consists of a specially designed control room housing the latest Pro Tools HD digital recording system, a fully automated mixing desk with Focusrite preamps and TL Audio valve preamps. We have a wide range of fully updated plug-ins and effects in our new Mac including Waves Gold, Autotune, Indigo Virus, Amp Farm, Echo Farm, Bluetubes and the Focusrite D2 & D3.
It is served by a large (7m x 5m) acoustically designed and extremely versatile live room for any live recording requirements. We have a wide range of pro microphones to suit all requirements, a fantastic characterful upright piano, amplifiers, guitars, and a drum kit can be made available for any session.
Studio 2 is ideal for smaller projects, pre and post-production, progamming,
vocals, overdubs etc. We run Pro Tools and the latest Cubase
alongside a Tascam 64 channel fully automated digital controller mixing
desk and a wealth of plug ins and software such as Wavelab, Reason, Stylus RMX and the full Native Instruments collection.
We also have large banks of available samples, hard and soft-synths and sounds.
Again, the second studio is adjoined by a acoustically treated live
room, with the same equipment available as the large live room except
for
the piano. This room has much more of a 'dead' sound making it ideal
for vocal overdubs, broadcast recording, cranked up guitar amps and much more!The live rooms are tie-lined together increasing possibilities for separation during recordings in either of the studios.
PLEASE NOTE: The studios are always booked with an experienced engineer / producer (included in the hourly rate) who is available all the time for any questions, queries and help.
